License templates are pre-configured collections of licenses and service plans that can be delegated to operators for assignment. This eliminates the need for operators to select licenses and service plans individually. These templates not only enhance efficiency by standardizing (templatizing) configurations for multiple users, but they also minimize the risk of errors during license assignment.
Additionally, these license templates enable centralized control. As a tenant admin, you can dictate the availability of certain features using these templates. Once a template is assigned, operators cannot override the preset configurations, ensuring consistent settings across the platform.
In this section, which, as shown below, can be reached by clicking on “License templates” in the “Settings” menu, you can:
- Create new license templates.
- Import and export license templates.
- Manage existing licenses templates.
- Duplicate existing licenses templates.
- Delete existing license templates.
- Organize columns according to your needs.
