[RECONCILE] New “Apply configs” tab for multi-tenant config deployment: a new “Apply configs” tab enables users to apply one or more configurations from a source tenant to multiple destination tenants simultaneously. When deploying a configuration across several tenants, users can preview the specific configuration changes for each target tenant prior to deployment. Inspired by a CoreVoice idea. This feature is available within both the self-hosted and SaaS Configuration Manager solutions. |
ANNOUNCEMENTS
[SELF-HOSTED CONFIG MANAGER] New authentication provider for custom Teams apps: an authentication provider has been introduced for Microsoft Teams configuration. This enables administrators to permit or restrict the use of custom apps within Microsoft Teams.
This feature is exclusively available within the self-hosted Configuration Manager solution.
[CONFIG MANAGER SAAS] Config Manager SaaS GOV now available: a dedicated Configuration Manager SaaS GOV application is now available to support onboarding for Microsoft 365 Gov Commercial tenants. This allows IT administrators to add and manage Gov Commercial tenants within the application, meeting government-specific security and privacy requirements.
Upcoming MFA Enforcement for Microsoft Enterprise Applications and Configuration Manager: effective October 1, 2025, Microsoft will enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across all first-party enterprise applications, including those used by Configuration Manager for tenant authentication. Service account authentication will not meet the MFA requirement and will be deprecated; it will no longer be supported in the product.
CoreView will remove the option for service account authentication on September 30, 2025. For additional details, refer to Microsoft’s official announcement. To be prepared for this change, review the steps outlined in our documentation
This update affects only the self-hosted Configuration Manager solution.
