The following procedure describes how to enable and create Virtual Tenants based on existing License Pools.
Step 1: enable Virtual Tenant creation from License Pools
- Navigate to “Settings > Organization Settings”
- Select the License Pools tab.
- Locate the toggle “Enable Virtual Tenant creation from license pool” and switch it on.
Once enabled, the option “Create virtual tenants from pools” will become available under “Manage pools” in the License Pools list.
Step 2: access the “Create Virtual Tenants from pools” action
- In the License Pools list page, select “Manage pools”.
- Click t the “Create Virtual Tenants from pools” action.
Step 3: select License Pools and associated Virtual Tenants
- A modal window will open displaying:
- Your existing License Pool names
- The Virtual Tenant names to be created for each license pool
- Select the License Pools and corresponding Virtual Tenants you want to create.
- Click “Create”.
Step 4: confirm creation
A notification will appear once the Virtual Tenants have been successfully created from the selected License Pools.
Step 5: view your Virtual Tenants
- Navigate to “Settings > Virtual Tenant” from the side panel menu.
- The Virtual Tenants generated from your License Pool configurations will be listed on the main page.
