Understanding who started or approved the Sync process

In the “Sync history” page, you can view the details of sync operations for all report types. In this page, you can find out who initiated the sync, whether it was run manually or scheduled, and who approved changes.

For sync operations with the change type “Backup"

When you navigate to the Sync page and select “Sync history”, by clicking on the “eye” icon on the left, you can view detailed information about your sync operations.

Step 2: view details

In the “Sync history” modal that appears, a line indicates who initiated the backup. If the sync was started manually, it will display “Manually run by [User Name] .” Alternatively, if the sync was scheduled, the modal will show “Scheduled by [Sync Schedule]”.

For sync operations with the change type “Deploy” 

After selecting Sync History on the Sync page, locate the deploy entry and click the eye icon to view its details. The Sync History modal for deploys includes information about both the initiator and the approver of the Sync.

Step 2: view details

At the top of the modal, you will see a line formatted as “Manually run by / Scheduled by [User from DevOps] | Approved by [Approval Information from DevOps] ,” providing clear visibility into who started and who approved the deployment.

 
 

For sync operations with the change type “Preview” 

If a tenant is pending approval, there will be a “preview” change source that will also show who started the Sync.

Step 1: select “Sync history” and the “eye” icon

In the “Sync history” modal that appears, a line indicates who initiated the backup. If the sync was started manually, it will display “Manually run by [User Name] .” Alternatively, if the sync was scheduled, the modal will show “Scheduled by [Sync Schedule]”.
