Reconcile lets you compare tenants and perform actions to adjust your tenant configurations. This capability helps you identify the differences between tenants and make desired changes.
Using Reconcile, you can compare:
- A tenant with its associated baseline: by default, Configuration Manager compares your downstream tenant with its associated baseline.
- A tenant with a non-associated baseline: compare a downstream tenant to a baseline that is not associated with your tenant.
- A tenant with Configuration Manager baseline: compare your downstream or baseline tenants with Configuration Manager's external, read-only baseline (more about Configuration Manager baseline).
- Tenant-to-Tenant: compare any two downstream tenants.
- Baseline-to-Baseline: compare any two baseline tenants.
- Tenant with itself over time: compare a baseline or downstream tenant to its previous states over time.
