Notifications

You can update the recipient lists for the following notification types:

  • Daily summary emails: when enabled, recipients receive a daily email summary of scheduled backup results.
  • Sync notification emails: if enabled, recipients receive an et an email when a Sync action completes. 
  • Pending approval emails: when enabled, recipients receive a notification of changes pending approval 
  • Error notification emails:  if enabled, when a Sync fails, you will receive an error notification. This indicates that the changes you attempted to deploy may not have been applied successfully.

Updating emails or adding email addresses

Perform the following steps to modify or add email addresses for notification recipients:

  1. Select the “Settings” icon for the applicable tenant from the Sync page.
  1. Access the “Notifications” tab, identified by a bell icon.
  1. Identify the email address to be modified from the list of existing notification recipients.
  1. Complete one of the following actions:
  • To modify an existing address, select the “x” button next to the address to remove, then enter a new address in the input field.
  • To add a new address, type the additional email address in the field and press “Enter”.

Email not needed

To stop notification emails for any category, deactivate the toggle next to the corresponding notification type. When the toggle is deactivated, no emails will be sent for that category.

If you leave the recipient field empty while the toggle is still active, an error will appear and the “Save” button will be disabled. To continue without entering an email address, first deactivate the toggle.
