SharePoint site card foundations

  • Last update on October 27th, 2026

The SharePoint site card displays site-level information and navigation tabs for the selected SharePoint site. Use the card to review and take action on:

  • File-sharing and external-access information for items that may require a data-exposure review.
  • Storage usage relative to the site’s configured storage limit.
  • External access to files.
  • Adding a site to a governance review.

The card contains four tabs:

  • Site overview: displays a site-level summary for the selected SharePoint site. This tab is selected by default.
  • Site access and roles: displays users, groups, and other entities with access to the selected SharePoint site.
  • Item sharing and access: allows to review SharePoint permissions, inspect access assignments for selected items, and modify user, group, or link-based access.
  • Storage and versioning: displays storage and versioning information for SharePoint Online files and folders available in the selected site.

Accessing SharePoint site card

In every report that targets a SharePoint site, select the external-link icon in the report’s leftmost column. All data on the card is automatically scoped to that site: no manual filtering is required.
