Email alerts setup

From the Monitoring page, you can configure email alerts to send an email when a selected scope changes.

Set up email change alerts

1. Click on “Alert settings” to open an overlay panel.
2. Turn on the email alerts toggle.
3. Add your email address. Use a comma (,) between email addresses to enter multiple recipients.
4. Select “Save”.

Review a change alert

Configuration Resilience sends an email when it detects a change in the selected scope. For example, a change to a Conditional Access policy triggers an email titled "Detected changes in Conditional Access Policy".

The email includes the same details shown in the Change history record: 

• Configurations marked as “Changed” include the old and new values for each property. 
• Configurations marked as “Added” or “Removed” display only the name of the configuration added or removed.

This lets you assess the change quickly, even from a mobile device, without signing in to the CoreView platform:

• If the change is expected, no further action is required.
• If the change is unexpected, such as the removal of all Conditional Access policies, open the Change history record from the email and review the affected configuration before restoring or updating it.
