Authentication timed out

Error:

##[error]An initialization error occurred -> Authentication timed out waiting for delegated authentication to complete. Sync again and complete the steps for authentication.: Status Code: 0

Resolution:

For security reasons, Configuration Manager is re-requiring authentication for your tenant. 

From the Sync view, when the status changes from “In Progress” to “Pending Authentication”:

  • Click “Pending Authentication”.
  • Complete the steps on the screen. 

If you don't authenticate within five minutes after the status changes to Pending Authentication, the Sync will time out.

 

 The Sync, which is your daily backup, will not run until this is resolved.
