On Reconcile, Configuration Manager allows you to view skipped configurations. These are configurations within a tenant that the Sync process could not read. This may happen due to reasons such as missing licenses, tenant features not being enabled, configurations being excluded by filters, or an API outage. When these issues occur, configurations are categorized as “Skipped.”
Please, note that skipped configurations are hidden by default to prevent confusion with up-to-date setups.
How to make skipped configurations visible
To view “Skipped” configurations in the result panel, use the "Skipped" toggle in the reconcile feature and select “Apply” at the bottom of the left column. Enabling this toggle will reveal configurations that could not be read during sync.

Now, expand the result list in the reconcile section to display “Skipped” configurations, which will be marked with a “Skipped” badge. This badge informs you that this configuration isn't being read by the Sync and may not be accurate on Reconcile.

The “Skipped” classification informs you about configurations that aren't in sync with the tenant's actual state. Consult the Sync summary reports for further details and explanations regarding these skipped configurations.
