Configure and schedule Access Reviews

Tenant admins can configure timelines and notifications for Access Reviews, including schedule, reminders, and notification customization.

Step 1: configure the timeline

In the “Schedule” section, determine the start and due dates for your Access Review.

The review start date cannot be the same day it is created; the earliest available start date is the following day.

Step 2: schedule the recurrence (optional)

To schedule recurring Access Reviews, enable the “Periodic” toggle. Specify the frequency by entering the number of days between consecutive review cycles.

Enable the “Periodic review” toggle to schedule a recurring Access Review.

You may set an end date for the periodic review or select the “No end date” checkbox. When “No end date” is selected, the system generates a new Access Review for the designated reviewers at the completion of each cycle (e.g., every 90 days).

Specify an end date for periodic reviews or select the “No end date” checkbox.

Step 3: set up reminders

In the “Reminder” column:

  • For one-off, specify how many days before the review due date the assigned reviewers receive an email notification.
  • For periodic reviews, a reminder email is sent the defined number of days (e.g., 10 days) before the due date of each cycle. Reminders can also be sent after the review has been created from the Access Review dashboard. In this case, they are only sent for the currently active review cycle.
Specify how many days before the due date the reviewers receive a reminder.

Step 4: customize notification emails

Customize the notification email content or use the CoreView default template.
