Before diving into how to use the Health Check, it is essential to understand what a policy threshold is and how to configure it.

  • A policy threshold is a number of matched items that can be set to determine whether a policy is compliant or non-compliant.
  • By default, the value set for Out-of-the-Box policies is zero.

When the default threshold is configured, remember that if the number of matched items is greater than zero, it means that the policy is non-compliant with the threshold itself.

  • A threshold is always required for Out-of-the-Box policies. Instead, it is optional for Custom policies.
  • You can set the threshold from the "Edit policy settings" panel of an Out-of-the-Box policy.
